“As the deer pants for the water, so my soul pants for you, my God.”

Psalms 42:1

Why Struggling Christian?

Heartbreak, disappointment and defeat. We all have been there, right? The holy trinity of ugly emotions used to be part of my life until my sister introduced me to Jesus Christ in March 2019.

Even though I pledge my life to the Lord, I encounter plenty of challenges along the way. My family forbids me going to church. My boyfriend is an agnostic. Don’t get me started talking about my friends.

Being a Christian has been a lonely journey so far, but I have faith in Christ that good things will come on His time.

He never leaves me alone.

I started this blog because I want to share my love and faith towards Jesus Christ in the most vulnerable way as possible. I don’t want to hide my scars, struggles and hardships. I want to tell everyone that it’s all right to be imperfect. It’s all right to be real.

It’s all right to struggle.

I invite you to join this journey with me. No matter what circumstances you’re in, there is always a light on the end of the tunnel. We struggle because we acknowledge our need of getting help, and that is when our wonderful Lord and Savior walks in.

I’m a struggling Christian. Are you struggling too?
